The doctor posted in the village primary health center was promoted and transferred to the district headquarter. A function was held to bid him farewell.
“I don’t know what we will do without you,” said the village sarpanch (head) at the farewell function.
“Oh, you will get a better doctor than me,” assured the doctor.
“We are also hoping that" conceded said the sarpanch, "after all, it will be difficult for anyone to be a worse doctor than you ".
